Independent Mercedes-Benz specialist · Edmonton, Alberta

Your Benz doesn't
need the dealer.

Tell us the car and what it's doing. We come back with what we think it is, what it should cost, and what we'd check first — in writing, before anything is opened up.

What these repairs actually cost

Indicative CAD ranges for an independent specialist, so you can tell a fair number from a bad one before anyone quotes you.

Full cost guide

Maintenance

A service

$280–$460

Oil and filter to the correct Mercedes spec, fluid level checks, tyre pressure, and the service counter reset.

Engine & drivability

Ignition coils and spark plugs

$400–$950

The usual cure for a P030x misfire code, a shudder under load or a rough idle.

Suspension, steering & brakes

AIRMATIC air spring

The bellows perish and leak. Replacing in pairs is usually the better money.

Transmission

The eight things we're ringing about most

Written for owners, not workshops. What it is, how it's found, and roughly what it should cost before anyone quotes you.

Why owners switch

The difference isn't the tools. It's what happens before the work.

  • Estimate before work

You get a number in writing first. If the diagnosis changes once we're in there, you hear it from us before we carry on, not on the invoice.

  • Two parts prices, always

OEM and a known-good equivalent, side by side, with what each one costs you and how long each tends to last.

  • Photos of what came off

Every replaced part is photographed and kept for you. No invisible repairs, no parts charged and never fitted.

  • No upsell packages

We don't sell engine flushes, additive bundles or 'while we're in there' work. If it's not on the estimate, it doesn't happen.

Questions owners ask

Do you service models other than Mercedes-Benz?

Mercedes-Benz is all we do, which is why we know where each engine hides its weak points. Smart, Maybach and AMG variants are included.

Will using you affect my warranty?

Servicing by an independent shop does not by itself void a manufacturer warranty, but if your car is still covered we'll tell you which items should still go to the dealer and why, before you book.

Can you give me a firm price over the internet?

No, and be careful of anyone who does. We give you an honest range first and a written estimate once we've seen the car or the fault codes.

Do I have to bring the car in?

For diagnostics and small jobs we can often come to you in the Edmonton area. Anything involving a lift, a fluid bath or a press needs the shop.

How long will it take?

Service work is normally same-day. Anything needing parts is quoted with a realistic date, and we tell you the day it lands rather than apologising after.

What if you can't find the fault?

Electrical and intermittent faults are billed as diagnostic time, and we tell you the cost before we start. If we can't find it, you've paid for the hours we spent and you keep everything we learned.
