We come back within one business day with what we think the problem is, what we'd check first, and roughly what it should cost. Nothing gets opened up until you've said yes to a number.

What happens next

01We read it and, if the symptom is recognisable, we'll say so and tell you what it usually turns out to be.
02We ring or email within one business day with a range and the first check we'd run.
03The car comes in or we come to it, we confirm the fault, and you get a written estimate before any work starts.

The things we don't do

Estimate before work. You get a number in writing first. If the diagnosis changes once we're in there, you hear it from us before we carry on, not on the invoice.
Two parts prices, always. OEM and a known-good equivalent, side by side, with what each one costs you and how long each tends to last.
Photos of what came off. Every replaced part is photographed and kept for you. No invisible repairs, no parts charged and never fitted.
No upsell packages. We don't sell engine flushes, additive bundles or 'while we're in there' work. If it's not on the estimate, it doesn't happen.
